Pieces are available in the afternoon the day after your session. We’ll text & email when it’s ready. Pickup are available between 10am - 6pm daily (excluding NZ public holidays).
Can you ship finished pieces? We can ship pieces domestically & internationally. You can find more information on the pick up and shipping page.
How long will you hold my piece? We hold items for 4 weeks. After that, items will be donated or disposed. -
We recommend booking for your time at the pottery lounge – especially on rainy days. Of course walk-ins are welcome so long as there is space.

Not at all. We’ve been guiding beginners and creatives alike, so you’re in very good hands. Our team will walk you through everything, step by step, and answer any questions along the way.

Our sessions are designed for ages 10 and over. Children under 14 are welcome when accompanied by an adult who is also actively participating in the session, as the experience requires guidance, patience, and focus throughout.
Take-home boxes for younger creatives are coming soon—perfect for creating at home.

Sessions at the pottery lounge generally last 90 minutes. We also have games, books and puzzles for those that are with friends and finish early.

We offer shipping both domestically and internationally and often ship pieces around the world to guests that have been in Queenstown for a short trip.

Pottery lounge sessions cost $80. This includes any piece you want to paint from the pottery library. Unlimited use of underglazes, brushes, sponges and stencils. Complimentary snacks and drinks.

We don't sell any food. We do offer complimentary tea, canned sparkling waters, a range of sodas and pre-packaged snacks during the session.

We can accommodate up to 12 guests in the pottery lounge at any one time. If you want to take the space for a private event please reach out to us via email.

Aim to arrive at your scheduled session start time. There's no rush and you can quickly get into your painting once you've chosen a piece, and selected your colours.

We’ve designed The Pottery Lounge as an immersive, hands-on experience for those taking part. For this reason, seating and refreshments are reserved for booked guests, and we encourage everyone attending to join in.
